WALKING AROUND

THE CITY

The Drawbridges Boat Tour is a great opportunity to watch bridges raising their wings very close. It’s much more comfortable and overwhelming than watching them from the river bank where it’s always overcrowded in the summer time. The night river atmosphere with perfect sight of the Peter & Paul Fortress, Vasilyevsky Island and the most romantic time of the year, the period of white nights, will make this trip unforgettable!

RAISING OF THE BRIDGES

The Peter and Paul Fortress is the part of the St. Petersburg Museum of History, with a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions charting the various aspects of the compound's past. It is also the centre of a number of St. Petersburg urban traditions. In the summer, the beach is a popular picnic site and is also used to host a variety of events, festivals and concerts.

PETER AND PAUL

FORTRESS

St. Isaac's Cathedral was originally the city's main church and the largest cathedral in Russia. It was built to be one of the most impressive landmarks of the Russian Imperial capital. It is also possible to visit the Colonnade of St Isaac’s Cathedral by climbing 43 meters high and seeing the panoramic view of Neva and St. Petersburg.

SAINT ISAAC'S CATHEDRAL

Built on the water and surrounded by a multitude of rivers and canals, St. Petersburg is also called the Venice of the North. The total length of all rivers and canals of St. Petersburg is 282 km. 7% of the total area is the water. Walk along the rivers and canals and enjoy exploring the city.

WALKING ON THE RIVERS

AND CANALS

Have a look at St. Petersburg from an unbelievable height! The walk on the rooftop is official and safe with a guaranteed support of the Government & the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The excursion is full of interesting details about the history of the city and will give you an opportunity to admire the most famous symbols of the city like St. Isaac's and Kazan Cathedrals, Church of the Savior On Blood and others. ON THE ROOFTOP

The Church of the Savior on Blood is one of the main Russian Orthodox cathedrals of St. Petersburg. It intentionally resembles the famous St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. The interior was designed by some of the most celebrated Russian artists of the day - including Viktor Vasnetsov, Mikhail Nesterov and Mikhail Vrubel.
